I would encourage any of you local guys around here to come out to the weigh-in at BPS (garland) at 2:00, you may want to come a little early to make sure you see the winning sacks be weighed. This is a great group of guys and all your suppert would mean alot to them. There will be alot of prizes given away from the raffle, procedes go to the " wish to fish" come out and join us.

Fields Continuous dominate ways on Ray Hubbard.

Nathan Fields took control of the 2008 Bass Pro Shops College Shoot Out, on Day 1 and never looked backed. Fields backed up his Day 1 weight of 14.49 lbs with 16.90 lbs today. Nathan also improved his Day 1 Big Bass of 5.15 lbs with a 6.87 lb chunk today.

The Texas Weather and Hubbard were back to there old selves today, throwing nasty curve balls at some of the NATIONS best
college anglers. The fleet left out this morning to calm/glass water and sprinkles only to finish up with strong winds and Rollers.

The biggest improvement today came from John and Bruce Anderson starting the day with 2.99 lbs and ending the tournament with 11.15 lbs.

I would like to say THANKS to all the COLLEGE anglers who came out. These guys are GOOD, locating fish and adapting to the conditions thrown at them. I will say Hubbard gained respect from everyone for the unique style she has.

Thanks to every one who helped out with weigh-in and much more.

AND THANK YOU BASS PRO SHOPS GARLAND

Congradulations to the winner, Nathan Fields for a great sack and all the other college anglers who showed up and tryed there hand on Ray Hubbard. It was tough out there, conditions changed through out the day on both days and they had to change things up and be on there toes to stay on fish. Good job guys! very well done. Thanks for comming out and hopefuly we will see you all again next year.

Congratulations to Nathan Fields. 31 pounds of Bass on ole Mother Hubbard is a great accomplishment. Does he need someone in the back seat for a Tuesday night tournament? smile Great job by Casey, KP, and all the other people who worked hard to put on a great tournament.
