I think his slip boobers are the biggest piece of junk I have ever bought, within in 20 min use the first one I had rigged, dropped the lower lead wieght onto the jig causeing my heart rate to go up thinking I had a fish, after several attemps to super glue it on I finally gave up and cut the whole mess off and went to stright lineing,my daughter was using the same set up and had the same result, this was while fishing a tournment so every min.counted,I am not saying all of the Mr Crappie products are like this, only the slip bobbers,I use alot of his other stuff and like it just fine but I am not going all the way back to BPS for a $3.00 refund, but if you are buying slip bobbers avoid those.

I've had just the opposite experience from skeeter175. They work fine for me. I like them because I can remove the slip bobbers from the line without cutting the line. I use the non-weighted bobbers mostly so that might be why, although the weighted has worked good for me too.

BTW, with these bobbers, if I am using the red cap topper I don't use a bead. The bobber sits up better without the bead in this case.

Sorry you had problems skeeter. I will now check the weigthted before using and if necessary give if a squeeze to tighten.
