Congrats Dub! Nice mess of slabs! After they move out of there, I sure would like to know where you caught em'. Tarrant county? Hmmmmmmm.
Don't want to know exact spot, just body of water.
I went back and looked at the pic again, I got an idea of what body of water they came from. I think I recognize those fish! LOL!!!!!

they were all in 1' to 3' of water, wind was blowing hard. front was in hard and heavy.....they should not have been biting....and so i dont have 75 people in my spot tomorrow when i go back, it was in tarrant county.....dont worry, any where you can walk, you can find fish....those were all from the bank. creek fishin...... I'll bet I know where you were!!!

I remember my first time. It was Warm, felt unbelievable and something I had never experienced. I could not get enough of it. I thought I had gone to heaven. Then the Game Warden came up and put an end to all of that. Congratulations.  I became a Guide so I get to experice thier first time over and over again.

In some ways I am still waiting for my first time (catchin a limit) other ways I keep going back for more!!!!! LOL

Slab I'm just like you. I'm spoiled rotten by the limits I catch...but I like it. Going home with 15 instead of 50 feels like failure now. But when im half way thru cleaning a full box of fish I always say "why the hell did I keep all these fish" ..then the neighbors show up and I know why. Ya know....the ones that say they like to fish but never go.
They come to see "how many did ya catch"? But that aint why they come. It's the quart they leave with. It's the stray cat principle...feed um once and they keep coming back for more....when they hear that electric knife as it strains to get across a big slabber.
