It's a shame...although there are things I would have liked to have seen done differently I really enjoyed the articles and Mr. Clayton's writing. Hopefully we will have another publication that devotes itself to our beloved sport soon (without Cousin Cletus!). IMHO the backwoods comic only perpetuated stereotypes of catfisherman being a bunch of backwoods yahoos.

heres his cell phone #richard chrisman 972-571-2277 i talked to him and he said a month ago that he was about to go to press with 2 issues i called style on 03-28-08 they said they have'nt talked to him in 60 days it seems that the owner of dk's and catfish gold have skaroooode us..... he's got some of my money on both counts

I have seen nothing come to my mail box. I was warned by someone that this was going to happen. Money issues. The publication costs were costing more than the advertising was bringing in. Thats what I heard. I don't know how much truth there is to it.

I talked to Richard yesterday. He stated that that Catfish Gold is having money problems right now but he said it will be back soon.
