I was moving my boat around with a trailer dolly in the "flat" garage. I went a little to far and the tires hit the "slanted" driveway. The boat went tearing down the drive and was stopped by my wife's new car that was parked in the steet. Luckily I got out of the way before it ran over me.

Boat was okay, wife and car were fairly upset.

small world, was it the "anchor story" or the "almost freeze to death in the dark, why did I come out here in the cold when I knew better" story

I'll never forget trying to un-thaw my frozen doors by peeing on them, trying to pee on the top of an F250 4x4 door is not easy, especially when its 17 degrees and " it" does not want to function like it should in the cold.

Went with a buddy in a air boat on the brazos one night to shoot some wild hogs that had been making their way across the river from the thick brush on the other side into his peanut fields. After about a 12pack wait we heard them coming across. Since we were beached on a sand bar we turned the lights on and took aim. Three fell in their tracks. While one wounded was making his way down stream. My buddy fired the Chevy small block up and off we went. His intention was to run past the pesky porker and make a U-turn for a final kill shot. As he turned we slid up ontop of another sand bar and tossed me out into the drink. My buddy starts running in circles at about 3/4 throttel looking for me and almost runs me over. Got the bacon though.

Your preaching to the choir. Must be a Rockwall thing. Cause everyone in the boat that day was from Rockwall as well.

I had just got my 17'6" bass boat and was backing it into the lake, and got out to un hook it from the trailer...failed to put it in park...saved at the last minute, but the plug was not in the boat so it went in and sunk at the dock. Needless to say it wa great day of fishing...wait it was an expensive day! My tail gate fell down and slamed into the wench and busted the handle and i locked the breakes up on the truck!I have never done it twice, but i am trying to install a bildge pump into my truck for future stupid moments!

Romo please if you read this, can you step it up? My cowboys need another title. Oh and Kenseth if you happen to read this, open a can of man and start winning some races...if you need to borrow a can of man I got extra! That will be all.

fishing a saltwater tournament in Sargent, Tx, this summer we were running wide open in a 17 ft. john boat. we ran up on a oyster reef and just about split the boat in two and threw out all three passengers. needless to say the paddle back in goes a lot quicker when you're racing the water that's coming into the boat.

Fishing's ALWAYS good, It's the catching that varies!!

running a jet boat up a river, came up on a sandbar and had to shut her down, we had been running in about 3 inches of water and did not know it, when I pulled back on the throttle the boat stopped like it hit a brick wall, two buddies went over the bow and I about busted both knee caps on console, we had to drag boat about 200 yards in 3 or 4 inches of water, it was in January and it was cold, no rubber boots, we did catch some catfish.

Cold windy January day on Lake Fort Phantom Hill outside of Abilene. Following another boat down the lake into the wind. (DUM) Guy stops in the middle of the lake, in the waves and wind, for no apparent reason. I got lucky and managed to turn just in time to only run over the right rear corner of his bass boat. I was so close I could not see him or his partner under the front end of my boat. I was waiting for the sound of my motor hitting his motor or transom. The only thing that happened was he and his partner got soaked. Thank GOD! I nearly killed two other anglers just to keep from a rough ride. Pretty stupid. Please do not follow in the boat wake of another boat - EVER!!!

I have left anchors out. Plugs out. Transom saves on .The the dumbest was in the bay a few yrs back, I ran my boat up on a sand bar well me and my son both got out and started rocking the boat while I controled the thottle from outside the boat. It reached deeper water and took off.Luckly it hit another sand bar and beached itself. We were able to wade over and get it off. When I got back I was loading the boat and coastguard came by and asked if I saw anyone stuck out in the cut I came from. He said they got a call about a couple jack!@@##$@ who lost there boat. Of course I told him no. LOL!!!!!

The winch on the trailer would not lock,,, I put a strap over the bow, around the trailer....

When we launched the boat I remembered to remove the strap across the bow but I did not remove the bow hook...The guy that was pulling the truck up took off,,,I saw the strap unwinding... I was yelling and honking the horn on the boat,,, The dumb [censored] never looked back till he dragged the boat 3/4 of the way up the ramp by the strap on the winch... The only reason he stopped when he did was cause his son jumped out of the boat, ran up the ramp and beat on the truck window...And to this day he doesn't think that he did anything wrong. He said he felt a large tug on the truck but just hit the gas harder when he felt it. The tug was the boat hitting the ramp!
