I can't wait to see the pics.

I predict this fish and Jason (or is it the other way around) make the cover of the next NACA at a minimum.

I would say the major Euro Carp mags will pick this up. NACA is the least of it I would think.

It is first come first serve. If I am not traveling with work I am more than willing to go reserve the spot on Friday morning, however, this time of the year is not a problem getting sites.

Scott, I think the 50 and 70lb fish delayed their trip to whatever that secret place is lol.

And yeah, I think Jason will be in just about every euro carp magazine out there!

Justin, I think they're still on for wherever they were going this weekend. Peter wants to see more of Texas than just Emma Long. He has what he needs for his article. He just wants to see more of the state, and I don't blame him. It's not necessarily about catching fish as it is seeing some of the beautiful waters this great state holds.

Nah, I haven't seen it, I don't think anyone has yet. Zach says he's getting pics but he would have posted them if he was lmao.

And yeah, it's gotta be a beast!

Only one word ... wow. I'm tickled when I can catch a 7 pound buffalo, can only imagine what that 70 must have been like.

Thirty-eight inches was the length of the grass carp I caught last November, but it only weighed 30.5 pounds. That buff must be enormous for it to weigh over twice as much my skinny little grasser

That is more or less what I got in the weight calculator, the fish must be shaped like a rugby ball.

I am probably just as excited to see it as he was catching it.

Jason, you're the Man!!! 70 + lbs, now that's one to brag about!!! I'd offer to make you a life-size portrait, but I'd have to cut up my elk hunting tent to get enough canvas!!!
