There have been very few young guys that can consistently compete with years of experience on a consistent level without FFS. I can see older fisherman resisting the change because quite frankly, most earned their stripes with time on the water year after year and now that experience and knowledge is not as valuable (or accurate) as it was once thought to be. Today, FFS has made the more tech savy youngsters competitive and they really don't need the overall knowledge that was needed just a few years ago. As we get older, change sometimes becomes more difficult. It remains to be seen how FFS will effect bass fishing long term.
