Old is 20 years older than you and good money is 20k more than what you make. That’s the rule.

FFS (in tournaments) fans are like Democrats screaming about Jan 6 while they torch courthouses. As soon as it's mentioned in a conversation, they turn hateful and go straight to degrading their perceived competition. No one is allowed to have a different opinion on FFS or the fascist fishing brigade will come for you.

I get both sides of the FFS argument.

There have been very few young guys that can consistently compete with years of experience on a consistent level without FFS. I can see older fisherman resisting the change because quite frankly, most earned their stripes with time on the water year after year and now that experience and knowledge is not as valuable (or accurate) as it was once thought to be.

Today, FFS has made the more tech savy youngsters competitive and they really don't need the overall knowledge that was needed just a few years ago.

As we get older, change sometimes becomes more difficult.

It remains to be seen how FFS will effect bass fishing long term.

You know, once we were young. Maybe instead of beeching about "olds" you should hope you leave this earth before you become one. What is the difference between not liking FFS or your constant bashing older people? Just my opinion on all you old haters.

Hell yeah ! March on Brother NITROZ !

(I am a FFS fan though).

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

Yeah, I ain't hating on FFS or young fishermen. I just have an opinion. I am by no means a historian on fishing, but it appears to me that FFS and super young fishermen showed up at the same time.

Go hateful? The thread was started to congratulate a young kid on his success- that’s positive. If anyone after that brings stuff up negatively to take away from his success then you are the doing exactly what you are accusing others of.
