I have USAA. Unfortunately, she’s not eligible.

Switched to them last year. I got a crazy quote in mail from Allstate agent in Rockwall. I am sure it is a teaser rate. I sent it to my agent and told her it is time to shop it.

I just switched everything from Farmer's and save $2k a year....Until they creep back up like all of them do. Gotta switch about every 5 years.

We have Germania too. My rate for my auto policy went up 110% last year to almost $1200 for a old Dodge dually and a trailer. No claims, no tickets or accidents. Turns out, they flat out cancelled our umbrella policy because mom wouldn't move her auto insurance from Amica to Germania. Pretty cheesy thing to do because we didn't have all of our vehicles with them. I just switched my auto over to someone else because of it.

Plus, they have fantastic customer service. I had a call from them a few years ago after we had a hail storm in Arlington. "Sgt. Akins, this is USAA. We see that there was a bad storm in your area last night. Are you and your wife and your house and vehicles OK?" Never had a call like that from any other insurance company.

Why would want anyone to cheat you out of more?

We have Germ too. I’ll be switching. Had hail damage last year. Had to battle 4 months on roof. Came out with a victory. They tried to pull some BS. Cost them more
