Like catching them more than eating them.

I grill them on a cedar plank with some pecan wood. Dang good. I’d be concerned about it falling off. Do you secure it to the cedar plank somehow? I hire RJ to secure it since he's the only expert we have in properly securing loads.

Never was a big fan of cooked salmon until the past few years, it has to be grilled to perfection ( barely done ) and I like a garlic / lemon/ butter seasoning, served with a big salad with pablano ranch dressing.

I used to work in a Retail/Wholesale seafood store in Chicago. Our most of our fish was flown in fresh everyday. We would filet it everyday and put it out in the Retail store to sell or box up and send out to restaurants in the Chicago area. That Salmon (many varieties) was VERY good. Our Salmon around here not so much. Previously frozen salmon is horrible.

As long as it's real salmon.
Ya'll can keep the "Atlantic" salmon. Not a truer word spoken!

Love salmon! But it's freaking costly to get the wild caught. Those farmed raised fish are horrid and bland.

All that might be true, but polarizing fish here would be a gafftop. There's a lot of people who actually try to catch them. I won't let a snot rocket on my boat.
So there's that.

I love it. The wife only eats fried catfish and no other fish species.
