Annexing Canada would be like having to manage a much, much larger California.
Annexing Mexico would be an incredible burden on law enforcement resources. Plus it would add a LOT of liberals to the country.

That place is a dump. Its primary export is crippling depression and power outages. You'd have to bulldoze 90% of it for it to be more of an asset than a liability. Nice beaches though.

And... He wants to rename the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf of America! I think we can all get behind that one. The US has more shoreline on the gulf so why not!?

The US government is never going to rid Mexico of the drug cartels. Keep in mind that America is 85% of the drug market of the world. Until and unless we, the American people, stop doing drugs, there will be cartels to service that market.

Until and unless we, the American people, stop doing drugs, there will be cartels to service that market. This is what I was going to say. If the appetite for the drugs and trafficked humans was not there there would be no money in that business. We are upset about the cartels which we should be but, we should also be upset about the drug use and humans being sold for sex in our country. Also, aren't we mad at China and Russia for trying to take more land and call it their own?

can we cut canada in half let the very liberal east side with the major towns stay with england, We get the west more conservative side with all the oil and energy.
Mexico our military could get rid of cartels very quicky and the drug trade with it. A little oil and energy but really not worth it to get them. This..
