Butch the Carriage House on Camp Bowie was a favorite in that old house. Great food!

Not in Cowtown but the original Los Lupes on 183 in Irving. We lived in Bedford but drove to dine there maybe once a month. It burned down!

The original Los Lupe’s was on Industrial. Mexican buffet, all you can eat. I did business with Lupe senior for years and his son Junior at Oak Cliff Mexican Food on Vermont.

It was located on Camp Bowie. The Mexican food was great and always crowded. Always wondered why it closed. Chips, hot sauce and free queso every time.

Pollo Regio is currently at that location.

The original Campo Verde is still open in Arlington on Pioneer Prkwy. The Christmas theme is still going strong there. There is a waitress that still works there that I remember from the 90's (if not the 80's) named Kim. My best friends mom used to date one of the original owners.

That's the one we used to frequent. Haven't thought of it in years.
