I usually put lead nails and have a hay hook in them anyway and a tail spinner will slow it down a little. No issues.

Nothing. If I have to throw a senko Im going home Same. Mind-numbing way to fish. Can do it for about 5 minutes (1 cast) before I have to start throwing a crankbait again Y’all leave all those weightless wacky senko fish for me. If I had to chunk n wind to catch bass….id quit.

I know a few never spinning reel'ers, its always cast in blast with a baitcaster Bryan Thrift style, to say they have an OCD problem would be putting it mildly.

I've been throwing the Wave Worm Tiki Stick since 2001 when we met the owner on Rayburn during a BASS tournament... He gave us a plastic shopping bag full of them... Good product... Wish he'd offer a few more colors but... Dan

I’ll fish a weightless wacky rig on the bottom, in a brush pile 25 ft deep. I got time, when all I need is a ten pounder.

Not buying the junk Yamamoto are currently producing anymore, whats the best senko alternative? I've used yum dingers but rate of fall is slower, I still have a bunch of old tiki sticks and like those but not sure those are still produced or the same. What’s the difference now in the senkos? They are made different now? Yamamoto, Yum, Strike King, Bass Pro all have their plastics poured by Southern Plastics, which was a great company. When Rather Outdoors bought them last year, they moved production offshore to Central America (Guatemala and Costa Rica). When you go offshore, things inevitably change like the quality of the plastisol, the pigment, etc. This is why we have always resisted outsourcing our bait production. I’m obviously biased, but I think our Hyper Stick is a pretty good replacement. Same profile at a senko, but with two joints to give it a little more action. DM me if you’d like to try a pack out and I’ll throw one in the mail.

Lake Fork Lures is starting to do the Hyper Stick in a new plastic that has a fall rate very close to Yamamoto. This has become my go to for stick baits.

Got enough Senkos to last me the rest of my life. V&M make a good one but can't remember what they call it.
