I bought a whole bunch of them when they were cleared out four or five years ago….I see they are available online.

They are the only stick baits that are heavier and cast better than the Senko….at least from what I’ve found….and Ive tried a lot of different ones.

I just started using Senkos last year and the biggest issue I've had so far is durability. I have the Yum. and BPS versions and they seem to hold up a little better. I wondered if they changed the recipes for them for more profitability after Gary sold the brand.

Senkos have always come apart easily, that's what gives them better action on the fall. If anything, they are slightly more durable now than they used to be.

I still only use Yamamoto senkos. I haven't noticed that much of a difference.

Senkos last about 1 or 2 fish and are overpriced.

If I’m fishing with a bait like that, I buy a yum dinger they’re cheaper more durable and catch just as many fish.

I’m not very critical of the millisecond difference in the rate of fall or how much wiggle is in its tail when it does fall.

I use the Strike King KVD Ocho, and really like them a lot. They're made with caffeine, so it helps to keep the human scent away. They're like 5.5" long, and they weigh a little more than a Dinger does. You can really chunk them a far way weightless. You can get the 30 packs for $10.99.

I like throwing stick baits. I’ve used Senkos and Yum-dingers. I told my son how much I liked wacky rig fishing, so he bought some molds. He was already making swim baits and other soft plastics. Of course, now I get them for pretty much free… He even does custom colors. I have bass-fishing friends that swear by them!

Same. Mind-numbing way to fish. Can do it for about 5 minutes (1 cast) before I have to start throwing a crankbait again

Sometimes I like to drag a senko over a hard spot on a crig…it isn’t any more boring than dragging anything else around on a crig

You won’t find me with a wacky rig - ever.

Exactly. That is the most boring way to fish for bass.

BPS Stick O. I buy the bulk packs. Not once have I ever seen or been out fished by a Yamamoto senko. The placebo effect is a hell of a thing.
