My Garmin LVS34 transducer took a dump last weekend. The AHRS (stabilization) took a dump. Thankfully I was able to turn it off, adjust pitch angle and drive on seeing fish I can't catch. Called Garmin's customer service Tuesday and explained all the troubleshooting I did. Service rep said it was bad but before they could warranty it I needed to update the software (way outdated but worked flawlessly for the last year), also needed to calibrate the compass (never have with this transducer or my old LVS32). They emailed me a service ticket to upload a video of what its doing and a screenshot of the software update. I did that Friday and called them back. It only has a 12 month warranty and it was purchased November of last year. They are covering a replacement for free. With a deposit they expedite one out and credit you back when the old one is returned. Got tracking this morning and it will be here Thursday. Now to the pain in the @zz part. Tearing my bow panel apart to pull the old one off. between the Quest, Mega 360, a Garmin 1222 and a Helix 15" its a mess of wires. To add insult to injury I also have to tear apart my dual graph mount to pull the transducer cable through.

Proline Marine would have got the call from me on that one. Kudos for doing it yourself. Good luck.

They have no idea what it takes off the water to keep a bass boat in top condition. The time. The money. The busted knuckles.

The 84 bottles of Advil and 43 visits to the chiropractor after getting up under the console to find one stinking fuse! [/quote] 100 percent. How great would it be to just show up and fish, throw a little gas money. Miss out on the boat prep, repairs, greasing hubs, picking fiberglass out of your arm, tracking down loose connections, changing batteries and the laundry list of other stuff boaters deal with like boat insurance etc. Then expect a bunch of sympathy because your boater is scoping...... booo fing hooo.

![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2024/12/full-105650-253822-img_8662.jpeg) All back together with no leftover parts and everything works. I surprise myself sometimes. Also went ahead and swapped out the LVS34 factory mount for a Fish Obsessed Dominator mount. Looking forward to seeing what all this 0 degree offset hoopla is all about.

It looks the same. The only way to even tell if it’s better or worse is a realtime side by side comparison. Which is not possible, it is a better BUILT mount, but the 0 degree blah blah blah is some snake oil.
