They are predicting landfall in the Tampa Bay area. They have a population of over 5 million. This could be a bad storm.

Sounds like it’s going to be awful for Tampa. At least Florida has a competent disaster response governor at the helm.

Correct. Check with those folks in Ga., Western N.C., and East Tenn. about blessings and curses.

We need a TD to go all the way up through the Rio Grande Valley. It would help fill the lakes and slow down the border crossings.

Says a guy that has no clue how bad the drought situation is in South Texas. Medina lake 3% full or 97% empty. Canyon lake 50% full. Lake Corpus Christi 34% full or 66% empty. Choke 18% full, 82% empty. Falcon 13% full, 87% empty. Lots of cities rely on these lakes and it’s going to take a massive storm to make a difference.

We aren’t very excited about it How long have you been out there? That's living in hurricane country. You learn to dread the potential disaster from June until October. I'm always happy to see those high pressure systems hanging out around the Panhandle during that period.
