LA opted against breaking. Instead, cricket, flag football, lacrosse, squash and baseball-softball will be part of the line-up. Cricket? Cricket is a real sport, but it's mostly popular in the South Pacific and Indian Ocean countries. I'm actually surprised it hasn't been in the Olympics before, but flag football? I think that's only played in the US, and mostly by elementary school students. I was in Qatar for a night motorcycle race. I watched a cricket match for a couple of hours on television, went to the track, came back 6 hours later and the same game was on.

Have several friends that are Indian (India), they have told me there's been cricket matches several days long. They play in shifts. I couldn't imagine that.

Break dancing but no baseball? Probably 'cause there's a lot of crying in the Olympics but no crying in baseball.

I liked watching it for a few minutes. It was different. Right up to point when they started grabbing their junk and [censored] talking. Haha.

I think pole dancing should be next. Most countries already have national championships for it.

I survived living in Houston for 30 years & I always wanted to see bird flipping become an Olympic event!

I'm really surprised Bull/Bronc riding isn't in the big O. It's really the only sport that requires 2 balls.

The performance, if you want to call it that, by an Australian named "Raygun" is something straight out of a 3 year olds efforts. It's hilarious...she scored a zero. She holds a Phd in break dancing BTW.

If it's not a sport that thousands of people pay to see or involves something you might do to avoid a lion, polar bear, or crocodile it shouldn't be an Olympic competition.
