My wife and I were sitting out on the deck the other night and she asked me what I was thinking about. I said, "I wonder what would happen if all the mosquitoes on Earth were just poof, gone." "What good do they do?" She just looked at me all confused like she was wondering where I came up with this stuff. I said, "What? You asked!" roflmao

The only halfway plausible purpose I could come up with is population control.

I clean my house and take out the trash and for the life of me I do not know where or how the flies are getting into the house. It is like a movie. I come home from work and there are 20 or so on a back window. It is disgusting. I cannot figure where they are coming from.

I don't smell anything dead so I don't think a squirrel or raccoon got in the attic or walls and died. It is driving me crazy. I've been in the house for six years and have never had this problem.

I bought an electric fly trap and that is helping but when I come home from work, I get the Dyson out and go to work on them and empty the bin in an outdoor trash can.

We had one house that didn't have a chimney flue. They were coming down it through the fireplace. Sealed it off, problem gone. Probably should have taken that cap off when we moved. Oops.

Probably follow you in on your backside like the women in the picture. Funny thing is flies will follow you in but rarely out.

Anyway, is it worth the effort? Wife gets mad when I walk around the house with a can of Raid.

put the dogs outside and keep the windows and doors closed.

Check the weather stripping around your doors.

Use these around the outside garbage can. They work, but they stink.

I use permethrin 10 every three to 4 weeks around the house and pens with a big sprayer then a pump up sprayer around doors and windows and it works great. always have 8 or 10 yearlings on feed at barn so we have a never ending supply of flys and this controls them as good as anything i've tried.

I have one of the dynatrap units.

I like to put a piece of food on the top of the entry and watch the flies flock to it.

Boom

There he goes….

Just a FYI, the box fan by the back door has been working like a charm. Haven't used the spray yet, put some around the window but no flies.

Well, installed a ceiling fan and wondering why I didn't do it 20 years ago. No flies and pretty comfortable sitting on the back porch. Durp for me. crazy

Nice outdoor fan with plastic blades. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CPPRSMSM?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
