I am tired of them in the house. Anybody use fans to control flies? I was thinking about installing a wall unit (maybe two) under the porch to move air by the door for when we let the dogs out. I looked at some air curtains but one they are expensive, and two they seem to be made for the inside. Inside may be great for a business but I don't want to listen to the fan run. Anyway, is it worth the effort? Wife gets mad when I walk around the house with a can of Raid.

Yeah, theyve been really bad lately. Honestly, started to worry I was spreading to much salt around the house with the BugAssault...

Barn Swallows have taken over here at the ranch, 100's of them. Even with all the rain this year, no mosquitoes or flies..a first for here.

Go semi organic.
Pour some 50% or 71% rubbing alcohol with a drop of dish soap in a sprayer.
The soap wets their wings. The alcohol does the rest. To include sterilizing his dead self.
Yeah, I don't like flies either and Raid smells like funk.

We have chickens and I’m pretty sure all of the flies in the neighborhood end up in our backyard because of them. We have had a lot get in the house this year too. Our dog drives me nuts chasing them around.

They call them blackflies here, they don’t look like horseflies but they will bite the hail out of you

They will bite the carp out of you right through your socks. Dry hot weather has really knocked the flies back here. There always seems to be 1 nuisance fly. The 1 that just won't leave you alone.

I’ve been having trouble with flies and mosquitoes.
Was in my building a couple weeks ago and saw a bottle of mosquito spray that hooks up to the water hose.
I had never used it.
Anyway I sprayed around my covered patio and I haven’t seen either since I sprayed.
It was either the spray or the 100 degree temperatures.
