Ok so all we heard about for the last year was when are they going to open it, when can I fish it, oh the fishing is going to be great at first, not enough parking Now that people can fish it what happened? It is quiet as a Church mouse pissing on cotton. I want to hear about it dammit.
I fish on the edge and stay out of the middle

Lots and lots of 3-4 pounders. Got a lot of us thinking we're better than we are. It's really really good for bites. Hopefully Mckinney water sprinklers don't drain it.

There have been quite a few posts about it. There is also an entire forum about it on FaceBook. Fishing is good enough that even the Fork threads on here are about it.

I think I’d buy a lottery ticket if I could catch one that hadn’t been caught before. Fish are destroyed and still eating like a mf lol

Been once during the "no parking left rush' mid week, and went finesse fishing in some heavy brush in some back water and caught two 2.5 to 3 pounders. I talked to a lot of people that morning that didn't catch a thing but they appeared to be fishing most of the open water or open structure, with not even a bite. It was obvious it was reacting to the beat down. I may sneak back over there next week after I pay the state to let me use my boat and trailer for another year.

Definitely not jumping in the boat for some including me. We fished till 2 with 10 Fish biggest 4lbs. Still fun and would go back. Exploring thru trees was pretty neat.
