I want to try out the lake (like everyone else) but concerned that I won’t find parking at the easternmost ramp. If parking is full, are we just SOL? Hate to drive there then backtrack back to Ray Bob. I’d probably just go to Bonham but I’ve not had much luck there.

Great question, just an FYI I was there last Wednesday and all ramps were full at 8:30, people parking everywhere they were not supposed to be, not sure if and when parking will be enforced. In a nice weekend I would plan on being there very early

If you go on a weekday you will have zero issue now. Seems like the hype is over. About 75-80 percent of the fish you will catch have already been caught before. Some of their mouths looks like they got in a fight with a seedeater. Myself and 3 other people have now all caught the same 6 pounder with 1 eye off the same point in the past 10 days. They are already wising up. A lot of complaining about the fishing slowing down. They git smart quick. Still caught 25 in a half day Wednesday up to 5 pounds. Monday had 75 solo up to 7 pounds. Tuesday was in between Monday and Wednesday.

Yep they should have already enforced it. Also need to put up No Fishing signs on the floating docks. Getting hard to pull up to them too.
