All the colors mentioned will catch fish. It just depends on what the fish prefer that day. Some days it doesn't matter they will eat every color you throw, some days they are picky and one color will work better than the rest.
You just have to experiment and see which works best.

I Usually use the green pumpkin/watermelon laminate but I recently scored a pile of senkos at Ollie’s for $3 a bag- Watermelon Slice and Baby Bass colors. The Baby Bass has been on point here lately.

Yamamoto has about 10 million colors…..lol. Some aren’t that much different from others. I have seen when you think one color is the magic. Run out of it and you can catch them with another somewhat similar color or even another that isn’t very close.

Then there are a few days when one color will absolutely smoke any other.

Some days they are just chewing. Bass are some mean dudes with poor attitude. They aren’t the brightest. You have to wonder what they see in the senko. We call it throwing the cat turd. They love that bait at times. Composition and softness are key. Yamamoto Senkos are the best. Others are pretty good. The Bass Pro ones are good.

It looks exactly like the top picture you posted.

We were fishing them in some fairly clear water a couple of weeks ago and with my polarized glasses I could see them quite well. These things almost seem to be alive. They are in constant motion even when you aren't moving them at all, Texas rigged.
Two weeks ago was also the first time I'd ever used them or been around anyone using them; high school team. I tried them with my HS team mainly because of how much the guys talked about them on here.
They are a pretty pricey soft plastic but for what they produce they are worth it. I'm making an order this weekend of assorted colors and have also looked at ordering some BPS Stiko's; their copy version, that are cheaper and I may buy some of those to test. They review very well. I'm also going to dig around through my stuff because I think I have some of the Yum versions somewhere.

Congrats on finding your way to a Senko! They really are a great bait that works everywhere. You can rig one of those any which way you’d like. They are a cut above all the imitations in terms of action, but as youve seen you pay for it both in durability and $. I like to crig one personally.

Gary Yamamoto was on a TV show; I believe, a while back and was asked what his favorite story was about this lure. He said he had a lady that was fishing in a couples tournament circuit contact him and said she rarely ever caught anything because she was always fishing out of the back of the boat with her husband, what should she do to catch fish? He told her just Texas rig a Senko and do nothing but drag it behind the boat. They had a tournament coming up and they fished it. She called Gary that following week and was just ecstatic as she was talking to him. She put 20 or 25 pounds in the boat that weekend and they won the tournament doing exactly what Gary told her to do.

You only need three colors. Watermelon red and black flake for clear water, green pumpkin for stained water, black and blue for nighttime and muddy water.

I throw mainly Wave Worms Tiki Sticks... Met the owner on Rayburn and he gave us a couple hundred in all different colors... He's cut way back in color selections but still carries the basic colors... Dan

It’s definitely a no brainer at times, it just flat out catches.

I have caught more fish on the Yum Dinger than I have the Senko. Both work but I like how the dinger is good for more than just 1 fish and they also cost less which is a bonus. I do still have a bunch of Senkos and I still throw them mainly because of the color they are, the ones that are different than the other stick baits on the market.

Yum dinger is good for if you want to add a weight or are fishing super shallow and want a really slow sink. Senk is the best weightless bait. More action and faster fall weight when rigged weightless.
