Can anybody identify what Yamamoto Senko color this is. I’ve never fished them until today and I fed a whole bag of them to something on Fork this morning during the Solunar peak. My HS team caught their fish with them at our last tournament on Lake of the Pines. We’ve rigging them Texas style with a 3/16 weight and 3/0 offset worm hook. I was fishing shallow with them and may have gotten into some bedded crappie. I never stuck a fish but I wouldn’t get but about a half dozen cast out of them and they’d come back to the boat torn in half or stripped back. Bites were swim aways and the old lightning bolt head shake. I changed locations three times and got bit like that everywhere I went.
Side note: Used the new SRA boat ramp today for the first time. Love it!

This isn’t a slight to the OP, just an opinion/observation- does anyone think the color matters that much that it has to be exact? Seems anything in the green pumpkin family would be close enough.

I think it’s common to have success with a very specific color and want to stock up on that color. For me it used to be ghost minnow lucky craft traps, I caught some good fish on them, and just HAD to have that color, but in the end, obviously all sorts of colors will work.

I’ve heard guys really get on tangents at the shop about senko colors, laminates and all sorts of stuff…just part of the game I guess.
