I think everything has been hit on. Both about as high end as you can get. Conquest does have about 1/4” more in length on the handle. Conquest handles braid better imo. NRX has more models to choose from and comes in split and full handle. Conquest is only full cork handle. (MBR) Top half of NRX are recoil guides. Both are very sensitive rods with a ton of power. You can complain about cost all you want but they are worth the money and about as good as it gets. But you can find great deals on both on this site and a few others. Anywhere from $400-$450 a rod.

Bought several new Loomis rods in the last 3-4 years. Looked between the NRX, Conquest and GLX rods. Ended up going with three GLX rods. Just liked how they felt the best.

Just wait...y'all aint seen nothing yet.
I've got it on good knowledge that we're going to see some rods coming focused on FFS that run over $1K each.

Have about 2 dozen NRX+/Conquest setups but have to say, that rod is out of my league.

I think the $500+ range is borderline ignorant. $1200 for a 3x broom handle is stupid.

Being semi-retired, I don't want to spend that kind of money. That's why I took up rod building. I have built 5 rods using NFC X-Ray (Edge/Loomis) blanks. They all have Titanium Torzite guides from a great Japanese eBay seller and AT composite reel seats. I have a mix of cork and carbon fiber grips. These rods are incredibly light, very strong and very sensitive. I don't have more than $225 (swimbait rod) in any of them. Most are in the $200 range. Loomis puts the blanks on sale for $75 several times a year. Of course my labor is free but it is also very satisfying.

I check this seller often. When I see a deal, I usually pull the trigger for a future build. https://www.ebay.com/itm/144158150142?itmmeta=01HPN1BTY7EJMX8MCX3ZND1ZSV&hash=item21907ecdfe:g:SloAAOSwRG5hGyOh&itmprp=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4Fvun1wY3hyMfI%2BCIVhMjki242TGYYyCCxmUUpL49Z1EUjokmh7JrJXMa%2FkZzOBwQORTq7pp6YCijrpGtKpF8C%2BI1zDXn3hwEQ%2BCkpEg8LJFsGTnMVoKe8SHh4UYWtVE%2FKlKx0m%2F32KUSTMeSD7tb13mWNFBA9CB%2FOO2DJNLQhmt1Qq83eKdVJTqXmN5W12yko7FtEy3AyGkLNQyofrzRmj5%2Bps2TnXxFGLXTcQdZTEJvkc2SJIrS3ZweBwN5jVp9lfPinokP2gzP0IbgLFrHxtQbBMWFzqzZXw1G6OF1SsN%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR5qvr6G1Yw

Thanks, I’ll keep my eyes peeled, you’ve been satisfied with them? Genuine Fuji product and not knocked off?

I needed an additional 5 runner and wanted to buy one. Since I have been a customer for a while, he said if I could wait for the shipping he would send it for free. I got it in about 2 weeks.
