100% correct. Daiwa is the best and the Steez SV TW is the best of the best. Even the pre SV TW Steez reels are fantastic.

I don't know what is best for anyone other than myself. For my own fishing I have not found anything else I enjoy using more than a Daiwa Zillion SV TW G on bottom techniques and Daiwa Tatula Elites on moving baits. Both models do what I want them to do very well. They hold up well too. I use the SV TW models for non finesse bottom techniques, the Daiwa Tatula Elite model for finesse baits, and the Tatula CT for moving baits. Great performing reels, all of them.

I had one for a couple days. The handle retaining nut stripped out and made it kinda hard to use. I returned it and they had no more in stock

Shimano-Daiwa. Is like Ford or Chevy. I've got some of both and they are all fine reels. Wouldn't say one is better than the other. The guy that clean and works on my reels has said that Shimano customers service dept. Is easier to work with than Daiwa's.

I still prefer my Plueger Supreme made around 1935. Fishing is supposed to be fun, and who needs junk like an anti-reverse on a reel? ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/7LVDzKsk/PXL-20231014-211439790.jpg)
