100% correct. Daiwa is the best and the Steez SV TW is the best of the best. Even the pre SV TW Steez reels are fantastic.

I have some Steez reels on Steez rods, most are on Falcon rods.

anyone used the TEAM LEW'S ELITE-TI? Havent used one but just handling in store it is incredibly smooth.

I had one for a couple days. The handle retaining nut stripped out and made it kinda hard to use. I returned it and they had no more in stock

Shimano-Daiwa. Is like Ford or Chevy. I've got some of both and they are all fine reels. Wouldn't say one is better than the other. The guy that clean and works on my reels has said that Shimano customers service dept. Is easier to work with than Daiwa's.

I still prefer my Plueger Supreme made around 1935. Fishing is supposed to be fun, and who needs junk like an anti-reverse on a reel? smile
