I remember going to a game at the old stadium in August lol I could not handle it left very early. I think Jon Matlack was pitching and Rangers did not have much offense not a super exciting game so headed for some A/C

I had to double check this morning and make sure I wasn't dreaming. Yes the Rangers won the world series!!. In high school in the late 70s we would set in the outfield at the old Arlington stadium. Couple bucks for a ticket and dollar beer. We weren't drinking age,but they never asked. Good times.

Same. I woke up this morning and checked ESPN to make sure it was still real. I'll be 35 next year, but from the days of Johnny Oates, Rusty Greer, and those guys winning the division, just to get pounded by the Yanks. The down years, then the wild ride of 2010 and heartbreak of 2011..the playoff appearances and exits that were underwhelming, the Bautista bat flip...to finally win it this year, on a year no one expected much and would be happy to be over .500. Greatness all the way around. Still can't believe it.
