Tape or videotape - meaning recording something. There will never be physical tape again.
Also film or filming something - same thing.
My dad always called a spade shovel a "sharpshooter", so that's what I called it also. I'm sure some people know that word for it, but I've never heard anyone else call it that. You must be referring to a bill-dookie

foot feed for gas pedal, and another that I never hear anymore is " foot a monkey " my grandpa said that often in what seemed like exaggerated aggravation but it never failed to tickle me as a kid.
