OPEC cut production 2m barrels a day several months ago. Saudi, on their own, said they are.cutting a million barrels a day starting in July.
The US has been a net producer of crude since 2020 and are expected to do the same this year. That is not the same as energy independent and we have never been nor are planning on it anytime soon.

IF someone was so eat up as you seem to be, you need to check your data. Our crude production is still climbing and other countries cutting back only works to the advantage of the open market producers.

when you said advantage I think you meant higher prices

They are trying to build a refinery in Cushing, Ok that will refine what we produce here, we’ll see if the swamp lets it happen.

$2.87 for regular unleaded in Lampasas. That’s what I paid all this week.

Prices have jumped sharply here in middle Tennessee in the past week. I attributed it to this weeks CMA fest. Guess I was wrong like usual.

Been the same here for the last 10 days (87/4.99), but they usually change the price with the next load....which should be any day now.

If you can revive a worldwide virus that slows economies, oil use and production you can get those 2020 gas prices back.

Don't worry, it will come down a nickle. Then people will talk about gas coming down instead of it still being .35 cents higher then a couple of days ago.
