We left E Tennessee and found gas for $2.87 in Kentucky, by the time we got to Cincinnati it was $3.69... Lowest I saw along the way for diesel was $3.37 and the high here is $3.79... Dan

I'm one of the bad people. I don't even look anymore. Just fill up when needed. Learned a long time ago that it isn't one of those things to worry about because there was nothing I could do about it.
I do miss the price wars of the time I was growing up and needing gas for mowing lawns. Was regularly around 25-29 cents a gallon, price wars for the 2 stations in town would sometimes drive it down to 19 cents. And you would get free hats and stuff with a fill up. Ah, the good old days....
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

There is something we as voters can do about it. We can vote out the feeble old moron who made it his first priority as President to attack the oil industry. We have to worry about what OPEC is doing because Biden and Democrats took an energy independent America and turned it into a country that goes hat in hand to the Arabs asking them to please give us more oil.

I noticed here in Plano this morning it jumped 40 cents overnight. Every station on my way to work was 3.29 today.

Just paid my .40 cent a gallon upgrade.
Took a deep breath. Crossed my arms across my chest. Raised my chin towards the sky. And said to myself. This is what we wanted.

OPEC cut production 2m barrels a day several months ago. Saudi, on their own, said they are.cutting a million barrels a day starting in July. The US has been a net producer of crude since 2020 and are expected to do the same this year. That is not the same as energy independent and we have never been nor are planning on it anytime soon. IF someone was so eat up as you seem to be, you need to check your data. Our crude production is still climbing and other countries cutting back only works to the advantage of the open market producers.
