I'll throw another vote for Dio.
JR i tried to analyze him the other morning i could not come up with an opinion he definetely had a power Have you seen the documentary on him? Good guy gone too soon. JR Ok Thanks

As far as rock goes...Jorn Lande is the heir apparent to Dio. He's been around for awhile. He even did a RJD tribute a few yrs ago.

Alison... she is in her own class = Angel another Angel voice from Heaven is Martina McBride...  Another vote for Allison, her cover of Ghost in this House is amazing.

Old school country, Loretta Lynn and Marty Robbins. Also partial to Merle, Conway Twitty and Tammy Wynette. But the best voice ever was Whitney Houston. Best concert i went to was Conway and Loretta in Fort Worth in the 70's
