That paddlefish is incredible - both that and the alligator gar are on my bucket list !
Lucky you!! Where were you that you caught both gar and paddlefish?

Cool... Paddlefish are amazing creatures... On the Ohio early in the morning you can see them feeding on the surface... Dan

Saw a big gar at the texoma dam yesterday . it swam right under the boat . only saw front half of it. appeared to be 5 to 7 feet long with a girth approximately between basket ball and volleyball size. impressive fish.

Which guide did you go with? I’ve been Planning a trip up there in the near future. Kirk Kirkland, I'd highly recommend him. Great guy and he lands 200lb + fish every year. I think last year he said he had 12 over 200. PM me if you want and I'll share his contact info.

Lol, I was wondering how long it would take before somebody brought the “lib” thing up.
The guy is just out having a great time catching giant fish. I've got to be the world's worst liberal being I've never voted for a Democrat. In any case, fish don't care about politics.

The guy is just out having a great time catching giant fish. I've got to be the world's worst liberal being I've never voted for a Democrat. In any case, fish don't care about politics. Being a liberal or conservative has nothing to do with how you vote, it’s your views, that make you a liberal or conservative Everyone can see our views on every post so they know what we are by that. There is a verse in the Bible that goes something like this You will know them by there fruits not by what they say I can say all day I have never voted liberal I am a conservative but if I stand behind every liberal thing and vote to put people in power that are liberal like FJB then we are a liberal

I believe our constitution is what makes our nation so great I believe in the right to bear and keep arms I think the government should be as small as possible to get the job done I believe in peace through a strong military I believe in fiscal responsibility, at home, in the state, and absolutely at the federal level I belive in America first. I believe in individual freedom and accountability, but with that freedom comes responsibility like paying your own dang bills. I believe capitalism is the greatest engine for progress ever devised by man I support our police and the rule of law I believe a strong nuclear family is the core foundation upon which communities, states, and nations are built
I don't know what you call that above, but whatever it is, conservative, liberal, whatever, that's what I am. I have always found myself checking boxes next to Republican or sometimes Libertarian names as they have always most closely aligned with my values.
Where I get sideways with you guys is I also believe in the scientific method, the separation of Church and State, and I am no fan of Donald Trump.
Anyway, this post was about a cool fishing trip I had!
