Russian regional "elections" are September this year and the Presidential "election" next year. The powder keg will only build.
China, Belarus, and Syria will act covertly (along with help from many others) to bring a different regime to power if the Russian government loses control of the masses (which I believe is inevitable)

So how is Russia going to deliver the nukes they are alway threatening us with? Shooting down a ballistic missile is a whole different ball game. Most will be sea launched. Or they could easily smuggle a couple across our southern border.

Of course, it's hard to really know as all information gets spun. This. I have a hard time believing anything these days.

True or not , but the effective use of propaganda in war time can be instrumental to helping change the outcome of a conflict.

So how is Russia going to deliver the nukes they are alway threatening us with? Shooting down a ballistic missile is a whole different ball game. Most will be sea launched. We all know the movie version of this. A cat and mouse game we play constantly with our enemies. We watch them and interpret any threat while they do the same with us. I don't know if thats true but it makes sense that they would want to keep all that confidential. What I am most curious about is how long this goes on before Ukraine feels the need to attack launch points inside Russia. They stage large forces inside Russia that have no threat of attack from the other side. Its a major advantage to have your weapons and troops protected by a border and at some point I believe Ukraine needs to just tell them to come and fight or expect your forces to face attack from wherever they attack from, including inside Russia.

It only cost us $200 billion... So far it's cost us $75B or about 10% of our annual defense budget. Keep in mind, in a normal year we spend about $150B a year to counter the global Russian threat. That $150B gets us absolutely nothing... It just prepares us to be able to counter the Russians if need be. The $75B we've spent so far has destroyed something close to half the deployable conventional Russian military assets with virtually zero American blood spilled. If we avoid a nuclear exchange this could go down as the greatest ROI in American history. If this wasn't happening, Biden would probably be giving it away in free cell phones and housing for illegal immigrants.

This is just a continuation of the Gulf War, when Russian made stuff was repeatedly shown to be junk. Apparently forcing scientists and workers to produce technology at the end of a gun doesn't work as well as the financial incentives offered by a capitalist society. Who'd a thunk it?

Maybe I am just seeing one side of this, but Russia seems to be taking it on the chin the last few months. Glad to see it... I am not glad to see it. Last thing we want is Putin with his back against the wall... #nukes I want him to force the corrupt Ukrainians to the table to negotiate. We should not have anything to do with this. Ukraine is Russia and Russia is Ukraine. They were not in NATO. Its not in our sphere of influence. The military industrial machine rolls on... We are building bombs right now and I guarantee we are going to drop them ALL on someone.
