I always vanish from the place for a while after firing people..... just in case That's why I go to great lengths to let people know things are not going well long before I fire them and when it finally comes down to it I do it with as much dignity and respect as possible. I've never had one go badly, but it is still a scary proposition sometimes. Only those who are nourished by the corporate teat waste time worrying about dignity and respect. One minute someone has a job…the next minute they don’t. Just fire dey arse and then stay out of the place for a while. You’ll be nowhere around if/when things pop off. You can always hire more employees, but if the brains of the outfit goes down…everybody is out of a job. Edward G Robinson in little Caesar?

Ummm , why should we care either way about some piece of [censored] that shoots up a bank? Do you root for certain folks to commit this cowardly act? Very strange. Naw, every time anyone is shot most everyone on here blames them on being a thug or transgender. So, I wondered how this was going to be perceived by the wisdom of the OT. Dude was a weirdo- he had his pronouns listed on his LinkedIn page. My wife is technically required by her job to list her pronouns on her email sig. Why couldn't she just say N/A or I don't have any? What law requires anyone to have pronouns?

Just another unfortunate case of work place violence. Been happening for years. Hint the term "going postal" as it always seemed to happen at post offices back in the day. Unfortunate for the victims especially the new recruit officer.

For what it's worth, there is no escape from it anywhere with any publicly traded company. nor in college my daughter is in a lab group for soil & water conservation @ U of Arkansas their group has to use pronouns i asked her & she said she has to she doesn't really care so thats good
