Man, some of those homes on the lake are beautiful! Matt Lee is fishing a cove that easily has close to $20-30M in real estate in it.

I would have to go back and listen, but I am nearly positive Bobby Lane said he was fishing RedCrest when he was on BTL when they talked about him fishing the Opens. I guess Boyd banished him.

Maybe Bobby didn't want to ruffle feathers or was asked politely to step aside or maybe it's time to fish and not care

So either the previous year champ doesn't get an automatic birth, or one of those other two scenarios is in play.

This is the best place they could find to have their little championship in March?

They only allow the defending BPT to fish aredcrest to defend his title if he is still a BPT angler the following year.

This is the best place they could find to have their little championship in March? I'm sure Marty Stone got this one set up. And don't forget it was set up when it was a "every fish counts" league. Then you would have "40lb" days. Norman is a great lake for numbers. Not a trophy lake. There will be a surprise or two throughout the week. Last time I was out on the lake we got two spots over 4.5lbs each. The guys that get keyed in on the correct forage will win

A tournament that is supposed to be "bigger than the Classic" is a snooze fest.
