Man, some of those homes on the lake are beautiful! Matt Lee is fishing a cove that easily has close to $20-30M in real estate in it.

Maybe Bobby didn't want to ruffle feathers or was asked politely to step aside or maybe it's time to fish and not care roflmao

Then that would be a cove with only 5 houses in it. Several have their on helo pads and sea planes.

I checked MLF's website and based on AOY results he didn't qualify. So either the previous year champ doesn't get an automatic birth, or one of those other two scenarios is in play.

This is the best place they could find to have their little championship in March?

They only allow the defending BPT to fish aredcrest to defend his title if he is still a BPT angler the following year.

I'm sure Marty Stone got this one set up. And don't forget it was set up when it was a "every fish counts" league. Then you would have "40lb" days. Norman is a great lake for numbers. Not a trophy lake. There will be a surprise or two throughout the week. Last time I was out on the lake we got two spots over 4.5lbs each. The guys that get keyed in on the correct forage will win

It is still boring. A tournament that is supposed to be "bigger than the Classic" is a snooze fest.

Just wait for the classic. It will be the same type of fishing.
