Squaw Creek is not private. It is now a park. Anyway, GWs in Texas can go pretty much any where they choose. If SQ were private, you would,by law, need land owners permission to fish it. If it wasn't private then how does a private company close it...... the body of water in not private but the land around it is.

Like deer hunting, Luminant might own the lake but the fish belong to the state. GW protecting the state resource.

You have a helicopter drop you in it in June and get back with us on that They have caught quite of few trespassers before the opening of the lake in Oct but never prosecuted them. They had to travel over private property to get to the lake.
