Stay in Nacogdoches

Fish Pinkston, Nacogdoches, and Naconiche. I didn't like Naconiche at all when I did this trip, but the other two were BANGER.

I second east Texas. Fish lake Nacogdoches and Pinkston. Phenomenal bed fishing on Pinkston.

Wow. Wasn't expecting amount of negative responses to Amistad. Last time I was there (Sep) I caught loads of fish. To each their own I guess. Even at low levels it holds more water than a lot of lakes in the State.
