I've used one for twenty years. It's a money clip. Cash, cards, DL. ..done.

I ordered a Ridge knockoff on Amazon. So far it seems to work just fine. I'll see how it holds up. Gonna just use the digital version of my fishing license on my phone. Otherwise the other things I need to carry fit in the new wallet just fine. Yes, because I carry in front. Now I enjoy being pickpocketed.

Grasshopper you must first have money to need a wallet Oh Mr Stumpy. There's no credit cards in it. I don't have credit cards. Not a one. I can go take a loan against a CD, get my own card. Finance myself. Also, I don't carry a cellphone. I haven't had a cellphone for 15years. No bills about that.. I do wear a watch. Nice watches. And the $1 bills are placed on the outside. The big bills stay covered.

The watch of the week is a Chinese San Martin. Dual tone. Blue sun burst dial. Seiko movement. (The bezel is ceramic. It's not scratched. The watch is just greasy from being worn all day)

Been carrying a Ridge knockoff a couple of years. Front pocket. Got tired of sitting on a lump. No problems with it falling out.

When you have a fat wallet. It messes with your spine when you're sitting down. Your hip has to sit at an angle. Over the years and that'll mess with you in a bad way.
I've seen guys with a small book looking thing. Indiana Jones diary looking 3/4" of a wallet.
