Zane...nice report. The catfish & bass look a little on the thin side, but the sunny & crappie look very healthy. Just curious...are the records kept by length, weight, or both & do you plan on submitting for a record ?

Steve, the posted record on TPWD has both the weight and length. The thought of submitting an application did cross my mind but I believe you need a certified scale to weigh, which I don't have. I'm making a copy of the application and will know where to find a scale if I'm lucky enough to catch another. My livescope was showing a lot of bass around those piles. The crappie were cowering in the brush ever time they came by.

Excellent Report Jonboatfishing. My favorite lake. As far as the records. There are either weight or length records. The 14 inch fish you saw in the records was a weight record. If you want to set a length record then the fish must be released. They actually call it Catch and Release records. Also, in addition to releasing the fish, it must meet the minimum Big Fish length requirement. Crappie must be a minimum of 15 inches.

I had no problem launching boat. The water is shallow around the docks, but I had no problems.
