Muffin loves salamanders. I have seen her with just a tail hanging out of her mouth. The summer before the big freeze it was not unusual to seen several at a time in the garage. My cat loves to hunt lizards, more so than birds. grandparents had a farm in Iowa . They had two feral cats --- a male and a female . The male was the biggest cat I have ever seen ( it was bigger than their Sheltie ) . Nothing F'ed with that male cat .
My grandparents warned me not to go near it ---ever . It had a habit of catching full grown rabbits and bringing them to the front door and eating the entire rabbit in one sitting . The only thing it didn't eat was the ears .
I hated cats ever since
