What brand do you use for 21ft bass boat w/ Mercury 250 4stroke. Looking for the traditional kind that go to the roller on the trailer.

A neighbor recently gave me one, which I have started using. It's very well-built and sturdy and is made by marpac. I had never heard of them, but it fits to a roller at the front end, and the motor end has two flexible arms with two nylon pads each to fit each side of the motor. Don't know who sells them, or how much they cost. I had to add a short roller to my trailer crossmember for it to engage. It's really probably overkill for my small outboard, but it was free. I have the Atwood brand : Don't let the plastic V end fall to the ground on its own. Let it down by hand or by bungee attachment. Continuous dropping will break the plastic V. Other than that, no worries. It is a great support and will last forever. Attwood Transom Support
