What brand do you use for 21ft bass boat w/ Mercury 250 4stroke. Looking for the traditional kind that go to the roller on the trailer.

A neighbor recently gave me one, which I have started using. It's very well-built and sturdy and is made by marpac. I had never heard of them, but it fits to a roller at the front end, and the motor end has two flexible arms with two nylon pads each to fit each side of the motor. Don't know who sells them, or how much they cost. I had to add a short roller to my trailer crossmember for it to engage. It's really probably overkill for my small outboard, but it was free. Ve Ve Inc ones are great. Traditional style that actually support your transom unlike the ones that slip over your trim shafts and do nothing to protect your transom.

I have the Atwood brand : Don't let the plastic V end fall to the ground on its own. Let it down by hand or by bungee attachment. Continuous dropping will break the plastic V. Other than that, no worries. It is a great support and will last forever.

Agree with this 100%. Buddy of mine just went from ProRule to a DD26. WOW. The DD26 is Very impressive how it locks in. ProRule is very antiquated in comparison.
