Looks like a leak was made or someone did a great job photoshopping the ad. Garmin claims it’s not real, but sure looks real. It would explain the sudden discount on LS.

It would explain the recent price drop on current products.

If true it sure looks a lot like the Active Target transducer?

Garmin is supposedly coming out with a new one that will blow everything else on the market away in the next month or so.

Don't doubt for a moment that it isn't real. Why else would Garmin just slash the price of the current unit. Pretty much what all electronic manufacturers to right before launching the latest and greatest.

It's real.

There is zero chance that they aren't going to introduce something very soon. On forward facing sonar, they are ahead of everyone and my guess is they have been working on a 2nd Gen transducer, which I'm sure will outperform all their peers. They have several new patents that have been registered since their original forward sonar patent.

Probably real. Why else sell your technology to Lowrance and Bird without having something else coming? I have heard Lowrance is working on a 360 like Hummingbirds.

I don't know if that AD is real but yes they are coming out with something soon. I have heard at the classic but who knows.. It is hush hush from Garmin testers ..I always get I know nothing.. The lowrance guys are saying yes it is coming out...

It's already out. All you need is a Ghost with an Active Imaging 3in1 transducer connected to a Live or Carbon. Free software upgrade was released a few weeks ago.
