If you tie those batteries for the troller together to create 24V I don’t think you can run your electronics off of it. You can still get 12v off either battery but do not run electronics off TM battery setup, it will cause interference. Electronics need to be powered off cranking battery or its own separate battery.

So AGM are good for starting and electronics only? I thought I saw on here Lithium for starting and electronics. Would love to go AGM if they are good for this because my charger will charge them. Two Helix 10s and a 250 Opti ProXS.

I think a BMS is a Battery Management System. Lithiums have to have a special charger and that is a function of that charger.

I think a BMS is a Battery Management System. Lithiums have to have a special charger and that is a function of that charger. The BMS is mounted on the battery and is rated for X amount of amps, the more amps the more expensive the BMS system. A 50 amp BMS is sufficient for trolling but you might need a 250 amp for starting. It keeps the battery from over or undercharging and shuts it off when it reaches a specific limit. The reason you need a special charger is some charge to a higher voltage and have a different charging profile when charging.

If it has a setting for agm use that if you are mixing wet cell and agm. A wet cell charger wont get a agm fully charged, the agm will charge the wet cell it just takes a bit longer.

I had 4 Intimidator AGMs for 8 years. I just replaced them with 4 duracell AGMs from batteries plus. SLI31DTMAGMDC Both of these are very good.

Run electronics on a 50ah lithium or get an Odyssey 2150 or X2 to run electronics and cranking

I have been running the same Northstar 31's since 2010 (yes, 11 years). They are showing their age a little, but they will still power my Triton all day long. They are indeed expensive.
