He knew he was going to pull out in August, so why the clown show we are seeing play out before our eyes? Why does it look like we are in Pamplona, just found out the bulls were released, and are running for our lives?
Why say something definitive and stupid like "you absolutely will not see people being airlifted by helicopter, then a little over a month later have to airlift people by helicopter?
It's humiliating and reeks of incompetence.

This is a common misconception. Excluding his immediate family, who had a strong vested financial interest, no one voted for Joe Biden. Everyone else either voted for Trump or against Trump. Those who voted against Trump are now seeing how stupid that decision was.
Exactly! The low IQ's may not be able to understand it though. In my observation and discussions with most Biden Voters there is little to nothing that the Biden Administration could do that would make them think that they made a mistake voting for Biden, ONE reason only — they have been so totally brainwashed by CNN, ABC, NBC, et. al. that Donald J. Trump is the most insufferable human being to have ever walked the face of the earth. Beyond reason. And I would say for some, beyond IQ. . Trump negotiated it. The RNC has deleted it's glowing support of the negotiations. Biden said "The buck stops with me". And the political [censored]. He does not care.

It's humiliating and reeks of incompetence. As soon as the full exit date (May 2021) was declared (Feb 2020), the Afghan military started their negotiations with the Taliban. I’d guess they set their own date for the financial transfer in exchange for weapons and a clear path a month before the final pull out date (Sept 2021)

Trump and Biden wanted out of there, as did most Americans. What you don't seem to understand although it should be obvious to even the most casual observer, is that Dememted Joe and his moronic advisors totally screwed up the exit.

Just curious, what does it cost us Afghanistan mean? What was there to gain or win after removing al Qaeda and then finally getting OBL? That was the original mission, those were completed under Bush and Obama. We should hav eleft the country to it's own demise at that point. If they reestablished the training camps, a couple flights from Knob Noster Missouri would clean them out. We were never going to stay there permanently like we did in South Korea, Germany, or Japan. we were there for 20 years we could have got out quickly & eliminated most of the enemy with more men - equipment - fuel - all air power in 1 theatre IMHO true, but by saying it cost us Afghanistan it's implied that we were trying to take their country for our own. That wasn't the mission. yes sir i stand corrected
