I have an old Lowrance 5" that would be perfect for your yak. I will give it to you, you will have to source the transducer but they are available and not expensive.
PM me if you want it.
4W Let me know if he takes you up on your offer. Which model is it? I think I have a bunch of old Lowrance transducers. I can send him one if I have one that is compatible.

Hey Harbor Freight May have cheap tools but they have the best tool boxes for the money anywhere around. My 2 General brand boxes are as good as Kolbalt, Mac and maybe some Snap-on
I fish on the edge and stay out of the middle

When you are 15, it is hard to afford Snap On tools. For a kid learning to work on things at home, Harbor Freight tools are great. That said, save your money for quality when fishing is concerned. You're out there to have fun, and it is not fun when electronics (or any equipment) malfunction/don't work as intended.
It's okay to eat fish because they don't have any feelings.

If your 15 don’t cuss, learn a better way to communicate. Save your money and buy quality stuff and then take care of it, you end up saving money in the long run. Those are two life lessons old guys know. this ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ yup

I have an old Humminbird I'll give you if you want to come to Van Alstyne to get it.
Cracked screen but it works. You'll need a transducer (not sure if I kept the old one) and cables.

I think I have a little lowrance 4 arpund here somewhere. Never used but only a fishfinder
When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

Have a Stryker I just took off my boat if you want it I broke the transducer but I belive they are pretty cheap let me know I'm all over dallas working
