129 according to Ellis County Sheriff on I 35 between Italy and Waxahachie ...71 Camaro

Had a 2011 LS3, heading into Shreveport one day, had a friend that was about 20 miles ahead of me and said he’s seen no cops, topped it out about 145 for several miles before settling back down around 110 till I caught him. Anything over 110 it’s get to sketchy.

Way back when, 146 as a passenger in my brothers 1968 Camaro. With me driving a 1973 Dodge Charger with a 400 Cu. In. with every thing tricked out you could sustain 135 MPH. Made it from Minden, La. to Marshall, Tx, a little bit over 70 miles in 45 minutes. Had to slow down quite a bit coming thru Shreveport or could have made it in less time. Back then I thought I was bullet proof and stupid.

Do motorcycles count. Owned a Hayabusa back in my younger and much dumber days.

+140 in my old bosses Porsche GT3 and it had a lot left. Even more impressive is how fast those cars can stop they have huge brakes and very soft and very expensive tires.

Did 100 in my mother in laws Porsche Cayenne about a month ago, I thought I was only doing 70ish until I looked down lol.

in 1974 , in my dads 1965 Sunbeam Tiger with a 260Cu V8 ---- I was 13 , my dad and I were coming home late around 11:30pm from a family dinner on a two lane expressway . A 1970 Boss 302 Mustang pulled along side of us --- the driver nodded at my dad , he nodded back . My dad says make sure your buckled up . Off we go , the Mustang was quicker off the line , but we caught up , the speedometer was maxed out at 140MPH --- we raced this guy for about 4 miles until a slight turn where my dad tried to pass him --- we spun out and luckily we didn't flip or hit anything .
We pull up to our house and my dad says " don't tell your mom I did that --ever "

130 or so in my 1957 Bel Air back in high school. Speedo was pegged past the 120 max reading and I had run out of gear. Basically driving a 450 hp floating hunk of steel. 110 on my Harley........that was stupid. 165 in a 2006 Corvette convertible with the top down because why not?????? Peg my Raptor out at the 107 limit on dirt ranch and county roads all the time. Would go faster if I would tune that out. What can I say....speed is fun!

148 on the Wurzburg-Stuttgart autobahn in my Dad’s Porsche 911S in 1975. When we shut it down, he said for me too gradually apply the brakes and not to stomp on them. My Ferrari does 211 but I sure don’t want to be in it when it’s doing that. It has the Enzo engine and crazy HP at 645

My Mazerati does 185. I lost my license and now I don't drive.
