The only Adolph I ever knew was a Mexican kid in middle school. He’s probably either dead or in jail by now based on how he acted back then. I’d go with a different name.

My grandfather was named Adolph, funny part is he was career military and enlisted right before the 2nd WW.

There is a lot in our family also . even middle names "is" a lot? Is the primary language something other than English? There are cases the word "lot" can be treated as singular, but this isn't one.

Not sure if you guys are aware or not, but the guy who led the Germans during WWII was named Adolf. Apparently not a very nice chap. Personally I would avoid this name. If you are looking for a strong German name, maybe Heinrich?
