Fishing has been pretty good lately with fish starting to stack up on main lake timber in 15-25' and laydowns. IMO it's still not where it usually is this time of year but if you stay on the move you can put a good box of fish together. We've been using Slab Syndicate hand ties in 1/4 oz white/chart, black/chart, and shad color tipping sometimes with minnows. Jenko 11' KR Rods have been putting them in the boat. Frank with Lakeside Lure and Tackle can get you hooked up with Jenko Rods if your in the hunt for some. May and June are typically great months to fish but it's been a grind this May for me. I think June and July should be lights out! I have some openings in July. Give me a shout if you want to get in on the action! Slew

Thanks for sharing especially about the 1/4oz jig head. Iām always reluctant to go that heavy due to outdated preconceived notions.
